Bible teacher Lisa Harper extends an unstuffy, unintimidating invitation to greater intimacy with God by exploring the truth about theology and how it can transform the way we live.

The most basic definition of theology is words (logos) about God (theos). Conversations, if you will, about the most important thing in life--developing a real, ongoing, vibrant relationship with God Himself.

With her signature style and wit, bestselling author and Bible teacher Lisa Harper invites you into this life-giving conversation. She makes theology engaging, practical, and applicable by explaining how academic-sounding concepts--such as imago Dei, atonement, the Trinity, the transcendence and immanence of Christ, and much more--are not rigid theoretical propositions but transformative realities that we get to live out with God and with other people.

A Jesus-Shaped Life will help you:

● discover more joy, peace, and intimacy with God
● dive deeper into biblically sound theology
● understand how theology is accessible and applicable to your daily life
● make more of a Jesus-shaped dent in the world around you

With Lisa as your guide, this is guaranteed to be quite the adventure!

"Lisa Harper makes theology both accessible and desirable for all, inspiring us to receive the unconditional love of our merciful and gracious Savior. You will laugh, cry, be challenged, and be compelled to lean in more fully to a Jesus-shaped life."--Christine Caine, founder of A21 and Propel Women

America Test Kitchen’s The Complete Mediterranean Cookbook

This is my 4th! ATK Cookbook - actually, 1 of my 4 cookbooks is their Complete/All About Family Baking recipe book, ha, but I still consider it a “cook” book. My latest ATK cookbook, The Complete Mediterranean Diet Cookbook, is just as great as their other (3) cookbooks - it is everything I’ve come to expect from ATK - full of wonderful, healthy recipes that are easy to follow, along with including great color photos & SO MUCH more helpful information & great tips as well. After reading about how healthy & good for you! following a Mediterranean diet is, I researched different recipe books on the M.D., and NO surprise, America’s Test Kitchen The Complete Mediterranean Diet, overwhelmingly got the best rave reviews. I also LOVE this Lay-it-Flat spiral bound design (this is also my 4th Lay-it-Flat spiral bound book) in a cookbook, as it makes it so easy & convenient to read & follow the recipes, without pages flipping closed, or losing your place, or having it fall apart. Buy the ATK’s The Complete Mediterranean Diet, you won’t be disappointed!!

ideal Book Format for ADHD

The Lay it Flat version of the book is a must have. It really allows you to immediately pick up where you left off, and with my ADHD, if I get distracted I can return back to exactly where I left off with no effort. I took a chance on this format, my first Lay It Flat Book and now I’m wondering if I can get all my future books in this format. They’re on to something here! As for the content of the book, she is spot on with advice. Make the investment into yourself and reorganize your life from the ADHD perspective. It’s making a difference for me.

For Simpson Enthusiasts!

If you love the Simpsons, this is a great gift idea for the holidays! Very witty construction of the cookbook, some really cool recipes and a lot of homage paid to one of the great shows of all time. Highly recommended
