While I have not started using any of the recipes, I bought the book for three reasons. One, there are just two of us and my wife doesn’t like leftovers so we needed help with portion size. Second, we just returned from two weeks in Spain and we fell in love with their food, so I wanted menu suggestions. Starting with resistance bands appealed to me after retiring as a way to create an exercise plan. The book explains the types of resistance bands and how to choose your resistance. All the exercises are shown with a color photo and explaination of proper form. The spiral format is wonderful to open to an exercise and be able to "lay it flat" while I work out.
