From chocolate chip cookies to cookies with nuts to bar cookies, I have selected these special recipes so that you and your family can enjoy delicious cookies straight from the oven. Some of my fondest memories growing up are watching my grandmother work her magic in the kitchen with her old, tattered cookbook. I remember helping her crack eggs into a mixing bowl and watch as she spread flour over wax paper and prepped the cookies. The end result was always the same. The amazing aroma of warm, gooey cookies being pulled from the oven. Check out the wide range of vintage cookies provided in my cookbook. For my money, cookies have been and always will be the ultimate “sweet-treat”. After a hard day at the office, or a tough one at school for the kids, it’s amazing how much a little round cookie can pick up the spirits or encourage the most finicky eater to finish his plate!

This is an excellent book in its own right. It is well written and covers its subject matter very well. It is made all the better being in the lay it flat format. It can be positioned at a certain page to reference and never flips pages or tries to close. And it can be read in single page format by holding it in that manner. An excellent book made better. This is a sturdy, easy to follow instruction book that really lays flat, even when you fold the pages completely over.
