Development of key sports skills in children and youth for the successful practice of soccer. Among the skills developed are: coordination, balance, precision, speed, technique, flexibility and rhythm among others. One of the priorities of the SOCCER MAT (r) is to stimulate creativity in the soccer player. Group exercises can also be implemented within the SOCCER MAT (r) method. The main advantage of group exercises is that they are generally more fun and challenging than individual ones. Several contiguous SOCCER MAT (r) can be used so that the player develops skills on wider spaces. A small soccer goal can be placed on one of the sides of the SOCCER MAT (r) for the development of additional sports skills. Also a training mannequin may be used. Additionally, plays can be designed and practiced that cover the whole field with several players.
