Disconnecting from electronic devices that have come to dominate our lives promotes creation over consumption. As you color your brain experiences relief by entering a quiet meditative state. Stress and anxiety levels have the potential to be lowered when you are focused on creating a work of art. In addition to a large variety of different types of images to color created by a professional artist, there is a section on Color Theory, another section describing the Psychology of Color and a discussion of the various materials for coloring. Opposite many coloring pages I speak to you, a fellow artist with descriptions on how many of the unusual drawings were created and provide suggestions on how to approach some of the images not usually found in Adult Coloring Books. Therapeutic elements parents sought to keep their children calm or entertained before dinner, are now being applied to adults, to help distract them from the daily pressures of life. You tap into creativity you may not have been aware of. It’s a hobby that can be taken with you wherever you go. About the Author I have created fine art work since I was a child.
