I also have this book in an oversized paperback format with traditional book binding, and it was always a pain to keep open (had to weight the open pages down), and then turning pages. But this spiral bound edition is fantastic - it lies flat and is an easy page flip to get to the next part of the transaction. Totally worth it!
Am just picking up the guitar again, and thought this useful...love the songs, and can strum as well as sing. One high-fiy for me!
I already owned a copy of this book in a normal bound version. Though the chords aren’t 100% accurate, they are the most accurate I’ve encountered over the years. Original capo positions are even provided. However, it was a royal pain to try to get the book to remain open to the selected song. The Lay It Flat spiral binding solves that problem completely—-don’t even mind the fact that it’s the second time I’ve paid for the book.
