Exercises are made interesting (and effective) with the use of numerous formats, including: úSlurred, staccato, detached and détaché bowings úRhythmic exercises in all time signatures for both scales and arpeggios úLong tone scales for tone study úScales in broken thirds and broken sixths Also includes a full page each of daily scale exercises and chromatic exercises.

Perfect for getting back into playing piano again

These spiral bound piano books are absolutely the bomb! With these books, the challenge is all in the playing - not in keeping the book open. My only minor complaint is that the printing needs to be a little further out from the binding. There is a wide margin on the outside, but an insufficient margin on the inside. BTW, customer service has been great too!
