This spiral book would be the perfect gift for the drink enthusiasts in your life. When searching for the best cocktail book, Cocktail Codex is a great choice. The spiral bound version of Cocktail Codex is great for those who really use and abuse their books. Our proprietary binding helps you lay this title flat for easier reading and handling. If you’re looking for cocktail books for those with arthritis, or those with less counter space, then the spiral bound version of Cocktail Codex is the only way to go.
“There are only six cocktails.” So say Alex Day, Nick Fauchald, and David Kaplan, the visionaries behind the seminal craft cocktail bar Death & Co. In Cocktail Codex, these experts reveal for the first time their surprisingly simple approach to mastering cocktails: the “root recipes,” six easily identifiable (and memorizable!) templates that encompass all cocktails: the old-fashioned, martini, daiquiri, sidecar, whisky highball, and flip. Once you understand the hows and whys of each “family,” you'll understand why some cocktails work and others don't, when to shake and when to stir, what you can omit and what you can substitute when you're missing ingredients, why you like the drinks you do, and what sorts of drinks you should turn to—or invent—if you want to try something new.

I received the the book, "Cocktail Codex" and am very pleased with the quality of the book. The covers are very sturdy and handsome. The pages are heavy, glossy, with vibrant sharp photos. I have never been a big fan of spiral binding, but as advertised, that is the "lay flat" feature of this book, and makes it very easy to use. Outstanding!
