Author Tim Murphy looked under the hood of the first "Flannel John's Cookbooks for Guys" and decided to tune it up. He's added more recipes to the 2nd edition. This book was inspired by his grandfather, John Murphy Sr.,who opened a Standard Oil Gas Station in the 1920s. The station was on the Chicago's west side at the start of Route 66. He dedicates this book to mechanics, collectors, restorers, gas jockeys, hobbyists, race fans and car guys everyhwhere.

Shipping is free for all orders shipped within the United States for orders $59.99 and over. All other orders have a nominal fee of $4.99 unless customers choose faster delivery via for $9.99.

An excellent book

This is an excellent book in its own right. It is well written and covers its subject matter very well. It is made all the better being in the lay it flat format. It can be positioned at a certain page to reference and never flips pages or tries to close. And it can be read in single page format by holding it in that manner. An excellent book made better. That's what Lay It Flat does.

Easy to follow instructions

This is a sturdy, easy to follow instruction book that really lays flat, even when you fold the pages completely over.
I wish there were a little more margin between the spine and the words, but it is readable so that is a small thing.
