(String). Irish Fiddle Tunes contains 62 traditional tunes including jigs, slides, slip jigs, polkas, reels, hornpipes, set dances and airs. All of the pieces are written for solo violin, with many including guitar chords for accompaniment. Experienced Irish fiddle player Matt Cranitch provides notes on all of the types of pieces, as well as playing tips, technical advice, and tune-set suggestions. German and French translations of all texts are available as pdf downloads from the Schott Music website.

Shipping is free for all orders shipped within the United States for orders $59.99 and over. All other orders have a nominal fee of $4.99 unless customers choose faster delivery via for $9.99.

This is an excellent book in its own right. It is well written and covers its subject matter very well. It is made all the better being in the lay it flat format. It can be positioned at a certain page to reference and never flips pages or tries to close. And it can be read in single page format by holding it in that manner. An excellent book made better. This is a sturdy, easy to follow instruction book that really lays flat, even when you fold the pages completely over.
