In her comprehensive renal diet cookbook, she details weekly meal plans featuring recipes that keep your potassium, sodium, and phosphorous levels in check.
The Renal Diet Cookbook removes the mystery and stress of figuring out what foods to eat, with:
Targeted weekly meal plans to preserve your kidney health

Recipes are easy and varied!
I would buy this again. So many great recipes for a kidney patient.
Great book .. Lots of good recipes. As a Diet Book I wouldn't expect such variety and very taste meals. We also have the other Renal Diet Cookbooks from the same Author. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the recipes give all the Nutrient Information and how many servings that the recipe serves. But a big issue with me is nutrient information is based on one serving and there is NO information as far as how large a serving is.
The Renal Diet Cookbook is loaded with much needed information . Beside the great meal planning, grocery lists, etc., it is a comprehensive education education in kidney health, what foods should be avoided, what foods are allowed, plus so much more. I go to a DaVita Treatment Center 3 times a week. I love the nurses and techs who take such care in monitoring patients during treatment.
Thanks for such a great source of information.
