Thirty-one lively drawings reproduce with complete authenticity uniforms from the American Revolution — British, French, German, and American. Each regiment is described briefly, with complete instructions for accurately coloring the buckskin, fur, and feathered clothing of common soldiers as well as the distinctive hues of the officers' uniforms. Peter Copeland, historical artist and consultant, has reconstructed these uniforms from early descriptions and other source material, illustrating many for the first time.

Shipping is free for all orders shipped within the United States for orders $59.99 and over. All other orders have a nominal fee of $4.99 unless customers choose faster delivery via for $9.99.

This is an excellent book in its own right. It is well written and covers its subject matter very well. It is made all the better being in the lay it flat format. It can be positioned at a certain page to reference and never flips pages or tries to close. And it can be read in single page format by holding it in that manner. An excellent book made better. This is a sturdy, easy to follow instruction book that really lays flat, even when you fold the pages completely over.
