Written by Mrs. F.L. Gillette, who in 1887 at nearly sixty years old gained popularity as a cookbook author, and Hugo Ziemann, a Steward of the White House who catered to the First Family and foreign dignitaries, the book set a new standard for the culinary arts. White House Cookbook contains not only hundreds upon hundreds of recipes for simple but elegant meals, but it also instructs on the many ways of proper housekeeping, how to make personal cleaning products and perfume from scratch. The book is now referenced and consulted by chefs, foodies, and historians. This book, presented in generous 8x10” size, brings historical dishes and executive style to a modern era.

Perfect for getting back into playing piano again

These spiral bound piano books are absolutely the bomb! With these books, the challenge is all in the playing - not in keeping the book open. My only minor complaint is that the printing needs to be a little further out from the binding. There is a wide margin on the outside, but an insufficient margin on the inside. BTW, customer service has been great too!
